This event will take place over Zoom from 6pm - 7:30pm (BST) on 16th August 2022 .

  • We pride ourselves on offering our audience an intimate setting with a limited amount of attendees. This is to ensure that everyone feels like they have received enough time to work on any feedback and it really gives our Workshop Leaders a chance to know you better!

We’re incredibly excited to welcome Phil Melanson!

Phil moved to London from sun-drenched Los Angeles, where he lived the Hollywood cliché — working a studio job by day and writing by night. He worked for several years in the marketing departments of film studios such as Universal Pictures and Sony Pictures Entertainment, where he developed digital marketing campaigns for films such as Little Women (2019), Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood (2019) and Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again (2018). Phil is a graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, where he received his BFA in Film & Television, as well as the University of Warwick, where he recently graduated with his MA in Writing.

Jump into this workshop to learn everything you need to create the perfect marketing package for your film!

    WHERE DOES THE MONEY GO?
Underscore Studios is unfunded and comprised of three volunteers. We believe that upskilling yourself should be affordable, engaging, and transparent. The money towards Workshops such as these means that we can keep them as low as they are, pay our Freelance Workshop leaders, support the organisation to be sustainable, and when we can, make more of our services available for Free.

    _

We are aware that even the cost of a concession ticket may be a key barrier for many people. With this in mind, we are pleased to be able to offer 1 Free place on this course. Bursary places such as these, will be offered on a first come first serve basis.
